Sage Berggarten



Description

Berggarten Sage is a popular variety that is commonly used in stuffings and can add a great flavor to turkey. This plant has rounded silvery somewhat fuzzy leaves and goes well with thyme and oregano. Berggarten sage can also be used with many protein dishes including chicken and pork, but is also a great addition to vegetable dishes. Many times the leaves will be fried also to provide a great flavor in whatever dish is being prepared. 

Growth:

Berggarten Sage can grow up to heights of 24" and usually have light blue flowers that can be seen in early summer. This plant is deer resistant and has a great drought tolerance making it an easy herb to care for.
