Meet Me in the Garden Lecture series

Protecting My Privacy | September 30th | 11AM

Do you have a patio, hot tub or swimming pool that gets too much visibility from your neighbors? Do you miss sitting on your patio with a good book without your neighbors reading it over your shoulder? While an eight foot high stockade fence would solve your problem, most people want a natural fence to provide the same privacy.

In this class, we'll show you which shrubs and trees can provide the privacy you so desire without the “beauty” of some big old wooden fence!

Cost: Free (Pre-Registration recommended)

Instructor: Doug Canan, Bedner's Greenhouse

Doug is an avid gardener, advocate for native plants and in-house deer-resistant planting expert. Doug's pollinator-friendly garden is certified by Penn State Extension and he often shares plant wisdom in the Beaver County Times. Doug was a high school biology teacher in his past life, as well as a health physicist at the Beaver Valley Nuclear Station.
