Lemon Balm



Description

Strong, sweet lemon fragrance and flavor. Fresh leaves are excellent in teas, as a salad herb or as a flavorful garnish in fruit cups. Dried leaves are good in potpourri or tea. Lemon Balm can be used in a multitude of settings in the kitchen and can be added to just about dish including adding it to a salad to gain more flavor, or using it when cooking fish to  give it a little extra lemon zest. 

Growth:

Lemon Balm Can reach heights of 36" it usually blooms through the summer and into the fall with white flowers that are attractive to bees and is will grow just about anywhere making it a great starter plant. Because it is so easy to grow if Lemon balm is placed in a flower bed it must be kept to or it can easily take over the whole garden.
