This extraordinary variety is very free flowering with stunning crimson-red blooms with white centers; perfect for garden walls, patios and containers; a great conversation piece. Clematis Charmaine features delicate crimson star-shaped flowers with white eyes at the ends of the branches from mid summer to early fall. It has green foliage throughout the season. The compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.
