Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Crippsii'

Description

Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Crippsii', commonly known as Golden Hinoke Cypress, is an evergreen tree with a broadly conical form. This golden, upright cypress is a vigorous grower sending out graceful horizontal branches of spreading, fan-like fronds. Golden Hinoke's fan-like, fine-textured sprays are tipped in a brilliant yellow, gradually becoming gold then turning bright chartreuse as you progress from outside to inside on the plant. Full sun is best in order to maximize this tree's outstanding yellow coloring.

Light Requirements: Full sun, Partial shade
