Category: Shop All, Shrubs

Description

A stunning broadleaf evergreen with small creamy white-edged leaves, makes a spectacular color accent in the garden, takes pruning exceptionally well, give some protection from winter sun and wind. Variegated Boxwood has attractive creamy white-variegated dark green foliage. The small round leaves are highly ornamental and remain dark green throughout the winter. Neither the flowers nor the fruit are ornamentally significant.

Variegated Boxwood is a dense multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with an upright spreading habit of growth. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage.

This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and can be pruned at anytime. It is a good choice for attracting bees to your yard, but is not particularly attractive to deer who tend to leave it alone in favor of tastier treats. It has no significant negative characteristics.
