Description

'Golden Lights' is one of the Northern Lights Hybrids developed by the University of Minnesota. It is extremely winter hardy (withstands temperatures to -40F) and typically grows 3-6' tall with a similar spread. Features roundish trusses of profuse, fragrant, yellow flowers on naked stems in May. Flowers are sterile. This outstanding, cold-hardy variety successfully withstands harsh temperatures down to -30 degrees! Sturdy, upright branches are covered with large, orange-yellow buds that open up to 1.5 inch bright yellow blooms in late spring. The attractive dark green foliage turns various shades of red during the autumn months. Does best in full sun to partial shade.
