Commonly known as Butterfly Weed, these are typically late to break dormancy. Vibrant-orange flowers are a magnet for butterflies and attractive seed pods are used in floral arrangements. The flowers are a great nectar source for many butterflies and the leaves are an important food source for Monarch butterfly caterpillars. Prefers drier and well-drained soil.
