Clematis 'Wildfire'



Description

This extraordinary variety is very free flowering with huge deep violet blooms with deep red stripes and white center filaments ; perfect for garden walls, patios and containers; a great conversation piece. Wildfire Clematis features delicate violet star-shaped flowers with white eyes and scarlet stripes at the ends of the branches from early summer to early fall. It has light green foliage throughout the season. The pointy compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.
