Clematis 'Fireworks'

Description

The name says it all; a very showy climber featuring enormous flowers of violet with fiery red bars along the petals, a performance that won't soon be forgotten. Fireworks Clematis features bold violet star-shaped flowers with white eyes and fuchsia stripes at the ends of the branches from early to mid summer. It has green foliage throughout the season. The compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.
