Clematis

Description

An incredibly showy flowering climber, featuring an abundance of rich carmine red flowers throughout the summer and into fall, an unusual and hot color for a clematis; one of the hardiest red varieties. Ville de Lyon Clematis features showy cherry red star-shaped flowers with yellow anthers at the ends of the branches from mid summer to early fall. It has green foliage throughout the season. The compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.
