What is it? A Bedner produce bag is like a CSA (community supported agriculture) but you can opt in week to week, rather than an entire season.
What is in the bag? We load each bag with the freshest and most plentiful crops each week. The vegetables included each week will be listed on our website, however substitutions may apply due to availability and crop conditions. We supplement our crop availability with other local farms too, such as Janoski's and Soergel's.
Why purchase a Bedner Bag? 1) It doesn't get more fresh than this. We guarantee only the best quality foods in each bag. 2) It's a great way to provide healthy produce for your family, and maybe even try something new. We'll include a recipe in case you need some cooking inspiration too. 3) Local farmers need your support. Local food = more variety, more for the local economy, is fresher, tastes better, builds community, is healthier, and keeps us in touch with the seasons.
How much is it? Each bag costs $20 and is enough produce for 1-2 people for the week. If you eat a lot of veggies, or have a larger family, then we recommend buying two bags for the week.
How do I order? The ordering window each week is Tuesday - Thursday, and pickup at the greenhouse on Saturday between 10am - 2pm. Available July 17 - December 18.
